a new color mutation

Post by OAvila1986 » Thu Apr 09, 2015 1:39 am

HELLO,
so I have 5 society finches that haven't left the nest yet. May be a few have fallen out already. But one of them is a mutation of black feathers with white and some dark brown. I've never seen this type of finches before. I've seen the regular chocolate white fawn white and a mix of chocolate/brown.

I know my chocolate female is on the darker side my male is a fawn with a Crest on his head. But this one baby bird Im just so greatly fascinated by! I dont have a picture yet But I'll post one as soon as I get it out to clean the nest.

I've seen online cream color, whites, (but it's not really white) the chocolate white fawn whites and many others. But this baby bird is very different!

WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED!!
