fledge society finches

Post by OAvila1986 » Mon Apr 20, 2015 2:32 am

Just took this picture of my 5 society finch babies all togetger. The one in the mildde is my favorite one. Its front side is a light faded brown I think. Ive never seen this color finch. Its head is a dark color and its wings are dark as well had to name it knight wing. LOL im just fascinated by this one because ive Google finches before and never came across this kind of mutation. The one in the end looks like a twin of knight wing. But only difference is the crest on the dead. If you seen this type of color (faded brown as I called it) let me know in the comments below!

p.s. sorry about the picture being sideways!

They are so darn cute. I love the colour variations between them.

Hi Orlando.

Love your babies!
My personal favorite, would be the little fawn, with the two white spits over the eyes.

Societies, can come in an endless variety of colours and shades. There definitely are some different mutations, but mostly I find, that no two are just exactly alike. There is always one different feather, or an extra spot or blotch here and there if you look very carefully. That's what makes them extra special :-).
