Please help me figure head color out - thanks!

Hello all! I have two juvenile gouldian finches that are just starting to color up. We named them Ping and Pong because I had assumed they would be red heads (husband is English if anyone gets the reference). However, one looks to be molting into a black head? - can't tell yet with the other. I have attached a pic of the parents - this is old because they are both molting and poor Oscar looks like he's been through the wood chipper!

If you are getting BH chicks then your male must be split to BH

Does that mean some could be red as well? Or all would be black?

males will be BH/YH and RH/BH/YH
hens will be BH/YH and RH/YH
