Pied gouldian finch
Hi there, does anyone know how to produce this beautiful pied gouldian finch like the pic I attached.. I'm very curious and would like to know what color combinations would it take to produce this mutation.
Gouldian finches green, yellow, silver and blue backs.
Long tailed grass finches, diamond firetail finches, swee waxbills, corden bleu, star finches and canaries.

wildbill debbie276 - Do you perhaps have any idea how to get to this mutation? I have not seen any pied Gouldians here in SA

Here's a post from 2011 about pied gouldians

Are you sure it's not an Australian Yellow? I believe they can look very similar to that

Re: Pied gouldian finch
I'm not sure maybe it has the australian yellow genetics. A local breeder I know told me its a new mutation, but it seems only a few breeders in SA has this mutation which makes them abit more scarce than the blue and silver
