Hi, I've had CFW hens in the past but they never had a buff orange color on their tails or rumps. Is this a CFW or a different mutation? Her tear marks are also a grey and really diluted. Thanks.

I know nothing about Zebra mutations, but I wanted to welcome you to the forum! There's lots of good reading at www.finchinfo.com, where you will find many articles on finch care. If you put your general location in your profile, it makes it easier to answer questions later on.

Re: CFW Mutation Help!
I don't see CFW at all. I would guess Florida Silver (single factor Florida Silver) although Dominant Silver or Recessive Silver are also possibilities.
Of course, if you are in an area where European Isabel is more common that may be a better guess than Florida Silver.
You can look up info at http://www.efinch.com/varieties.htm

Hi, and welcome to the Forum.
I don't know what mutation your bird is, but Cindy , could probably help you out with the different mutations.
Some very pretty birds .

Need to know your location....
If you have Florida Fancy in your country then she is a Florida silver (sf Florida Fancy) and she is split to Orange Breast as well... orange inbetween the tailbars is a marker for split to Orange Breast.
Written FS/ob or sf FF/ob
