Hi, we bought a male and female zebra finch, and not too sure about the mutations of the male, any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

The male is black face (black instead of white on his face between beak and cheek patch and missing flank spotting) pied (white patches in areas that are normally colored). I believe that he has plucked tail feathers so we can't use that to see if he is perhaps split to anything else.

Thank you both so much! First time having zebra finches, they are beautiful birds! And very intelligent!
