How are they black heads?

Post by carcoozie » Sun Feb 07, 2016 4:22 pm

A bit confused. My mom and dad gouldian are visually Male: YH/PC/GB, Female BH(she is yellow, so basically no color), PC, YB.
All the genetic forecasters I look at say that the offspring would be red heads (or yh, if I put splits in) but both the kids are black heads. How did that happen?
