Flight Feathers

Beautiful bird.
I am thinking a regular Black Face.

http://www.efinch.com/contact.htm Try and shoot an e-mail to Roy, he should be able to identify your bird better than me.

Definitely 100 % black face zebra :-BD

At one time zebras had to be exhibited as 1 pair per show cage, nowadays most specialist zebra finch club shows now allow to exhibit single birds aswell as being shown as a pair,

To be able to exhibit as a pair you'd need to make sure that yer hen is definitely a black face hen and not a normal hen as these are very much alike, normally the grey on the chest of the black face hen will usually continue a little further down the chest towards its legs whereas a normal hen the grey dosen't generally travel down the chest as far.

Be lucky

Flight Feathers I don't know about showing your BF. The people here in South Africa that show Zebras, has show zebras. They are quite a bit bigger than regular zebras.
