Yed indeed, they are stuning bird and open the door for new wonderfull combo like bfbbob, bfpastellb.
First you shoul build your stock of bf, u should select the hen wich will give u visible bf hen as outcome.

Regular wild type hen :grey hen. In the second round mate it to a grey hen

Yes of corse you will getting grey hens(bf or regular) as dad is not cfw nor/cfw.
The probleme is when you get bfcfw and cfw hen to much difficult to tell wich one is bf and wich one is regular.

And the last case happens when you breed cfw(/cfw) to grey or cfw to cfw and one the parents is bf
