Mutation help again
The last year or so I've really started experimenting with some different mutations other than greys and fawns. I got a CFW hen and paired her with a pied grey male. I was mostly getting greys and pied greys, but recently I started getting another mutation. I assumed it might be a SF FF, but I'm now leaning towards a recessive silver. I've also looked on efinch, and they say that recessive silver is becoming uncommon and that most of these birds may be Florida silvers. What do you guys think?

Beautiful birds. I know nothing about the silver and florida fancy mutations but cindy or haroun may be able to help you.

Here are some pictures of heads and tails. Sorry for the messy tail feathers, I've been cleaning the room and trying to catch them all morning.

Thanks! I have a friend that has more experience with FF and some FS. He doesn't believe that they are either of these due to them having a shiny quality to them. His thought was recessive silver.haroun wrote: Daughter 1 looks like she is a kind of combo of FS and a leaded mutation Grey cheek cause upon her head there is the withe patch , and her tail bars are distorted .
