So it was my birthday on the 22nd and I decided to treat myself to one (1) new bird. The pet shop I get my birds from had this absolutely stunning black-cheek zebra finch. His name is Fenrir, but I like calling him "Cheeks"... for very obvious reasons.





I really want to breed him with one of my solid white females but, alas, I genuinely have no more room for more.

yep congrates on that gorgeous BC zebra . but if it was me i'll not breed him with a solid white but with a solid lightBack hen (or at least CFW) indeed BC or split for BC if it's possible

Congratulations on Cheeks. He's adorable.

Got Cheeks a girlfriend (the pretty lady in the front, think I might call her Fade). I was actually a bit worried one of the other males in the cage would snatch her up first (one of my white ones showed interest in her, as did two of my regular males) but she chose Cheeks.

Oh very nice lady very lucky guy. And nice. Job ftom the ownet.
For breeding put them in separate box, like this they will not distrubted by the others and u 'll be sure of the offspribgs lineage.
