Head color of my hen

Post by sunnydove » Sat Aug 29, 2009 2:26 pm

The photo in the link below is of a juvenlie hen that colored out a few months ago. I want to know if she'd be considered a BH or OH? Her parents were Dilute OH PB GB cock and BH PB GB hen. I'm getting ready to sell some of my offspring next month and need to know what to call her.

Thanks,
Judy

Orange Head...actually YH yellow head. Many times when birds breed with different head colors, especially black the females will get this dirty mix of feathers. Usually as they molt each season they will gain more color.

Thanks Candace. That's what I figured, but wanted to make sure.
