I put in zucchini, Fuji apple, carrots, and broccoli.
I made it pretty well blended so they can nibble and easily eat the tiny veggie bits.
I remember you saying your Gouldians are on the fussy side, mine are/were too until I got a pair of Societies a couple months ago. Those two go gang-busters for anything new I offer them. It usually takes my Goulds a day or two to finally try what the Societies have been enjoying, then they're hooked once they try it for themselves

Yes, birds learn what to eat by watching their parents. If their parents don't eat it, they don't. They can however, also learn to eat new items by watching other birds. If the other bird eats it and survives, then it is safe to eat. Anyone remember: 'Let's get Mikey!'
