easy WHATEVER YOU HAVE ON HAND egg/veggie bread recipe
4 CUPS LIQUID + 4 CUPS DRY = BAKE 400 DEGREES 30 OR 40 MINUTES
4 CUPS LIQUID: PUREE 1/4 cup olive oil, 3 or 4 eggs w/shells, veggies & fruit to make up 4 cups. A tall blender = 4 cups. Today, I added to the oil & eggs...3 jars veg & fruit baby food, 1 c cooked cous cous, container mandarin oranges w/juice, zuchinni, corn cut off cob
4 CUPS DRY: STIR box corn bread mix, cup bird pellets, cup oatmeal.
MIX WET & DRY, ADD TO SQUARE PAN, BAKE.
I turn it out on a cookie sheet to cool off & dry a bit & then package up.
Optionals to add to liquid mix = banana, peanut butter, sprouts
Optionals to add to dry mix = wheat germ, cut up wholegrain bread or bagel slices, ground cuttlebone.
Just use your imagination & knowledge of what is good for birds to eat.

Sounds great, Dolly.
How do your birds enjoy it?
Does it come out all crumbly, or like a loaf that needs to be crumbled before feeding?

Re: easy WHATEVER YOU HAVE ON HAND egg/veggie bread recipe
I used this recipe and tweaked it a little bit. I used frozen veggies (broccoli, peas, carrots, green beans, and a little corn) instead of baby food. I was going to add frozen fruit but mine was all freezer burned. I also added crushed cuttlebone and a vitamin supplement. Cooked for 20-25 minutes.
I tried using olive oil to grease the pan but that didn't work too well. Maybe I'll trying using the tiniest spritz of pam next time? It came out in cake form that I had to crumble.
Thanks for the recipe finchandlovebird!
