Although they are technically passerines, canaries tend to be managed uniquely, so here is a forum just for them!

You're getting back into birds as I am too. breeding and raising finches is a wonderful hobby for any age and I'm thrilled to be back. Your canaries look great, and well kept.

Welcome to the forum Dennis .
You wont be disappointed with the helpful member's .
Dont know much about canary's myself , nice clean bird's you have
Ive been tempted to get a pair of lizard canarie's , like the look of them . Trouble is I start to count up what I have ( too many if im honest ) and decide against a new purchase for now .

Lovely, lovely birds! Are any of them singing yet? I've had several cock canaries over the years, and a number of hens. Canaries make great pets.

All the birds are this year and was singing the next morning after bringing them home. Originally was only going to get one pair...that idea didnt last long. Went and got 3 more hens and 1 more singer today...so got 6 pair now...I'm done.
