New fledglings

Although they are technically passerines, canaries tend to be managed uniquely, so here is a forum just for them!

Nice chicks Steve. I have 2 tiny canary chicks hopping around in my aviary and a larger one flying about.

Very nice birds. Canaries cannot wait to get a new clutch going.

I'd forgotten how small canary and finch fledglings are! I've had my Kevin (canary) for 13 years, and I still remember seeing him the first time...all legs, and ball of fluff....

*Kevin aka “The Old Man” – very cranky canary – 13 years old and rules the Roost!
*Beaky aka “Beaky Beak” the Zebrafinch – 1 year old – and a real, real cutie!!!
*Merlin aka “Merl” the Starfinch – 3 ½ years old – and “bossy as anything for such a small fry!”
