Leo519, I'm wondering why your canary is molting now? Mine are on a natural daylength, the same hours of light as outside. They molt in July, August and into September (Northern hemisphere).
One of my local canary friends has birds with a full tail feather molt like yours, and he had never seen it before (in 50 years of canary keeping).
Your bird sure sings well!

I think the Initial post was made in August, so that would be about right.
My guys molt in the late Spring and Into Summer as well.
