white and black canary 7 months old

Although they are technically passerines, canaries tend to be managed uniquely, so here is a forum just for them!

bylyku,
Keep your older g.f with the others, give baths every day if possible. I give mine a little xtra protein during molt. I have had some older g.f's molt longer than others, but eventually they finish well. also, he might be stuck in the molt. Sorry I can't be of more help

Canaries can have very heavy moults, and they are affected by light. I have an 11 year old canary, and he really had a hard moult the last year (perhaps because of age) and I provided lots of supplements, greens etc and he came through OK
