Hi,

I am interested in purchasing a Gloster Corona male. Looking for one with solid-ish body color, with a different color corona. Would love a 'Blue'.

(btw, is it 'Gloster' or 'Glouster'? I have seen both_
I am in NE Florida, but may be traveling to Knoxville, via Atlanta in the near future.

Thanks!

Lauren

I've always went by "Gloster", but sorry I don't know where you can get one right now. The annual big canary show in Orlando usually has them. Bob

Glosters tend to be a rarer type of bird. They make great pets. I remember my mum had a gloster years and years ago- 'Kramer' - as per Seinfeld character, and he had a little hairdo which always made me laugh! They also sing wonderfully well!

Good luck.

A wonderful breeder of show Glosters had one of his stunning males lose a tail feather, & is "out for the season" apparently.
So, he was kind enough to let him go to a new home.

I just LOVE him! So calm, tame, always 'posing' ....a big yellow fluffy golf ball with a stylin' hairdo! And a charming song as well. :-)

Now to come up with a name - suggestions welcome!

Wow - thanks Lou! I have spent over an hour visiting House of Crests. Amazing birds, philosophy, & excellent writing!
Lots to learn. :-)

Nice color on your gloster corona! I prefer the clear bodied birds over the heavily variegated birds.

He looks like he needs a strong, proper name. Something like Alexander Maximilian Featherton, Ceasar Canarius, or Napoleon Bonne Chirp.
