Luciano, sings again...

After a long molt, my darling Luchi, is begining to sing again. Day before last, he cleared his throat, stuck his tongue out and said , peeeue.
Then yesterday, he said, peeeue, chip, chip.
I thought, aha here we go and put on some recordings of canaries singing. Well, Luchi got all excited, cleared his throat, said Gaack and started singing. He sounds a little rusty, but I think will be back to his beautiful song in no time. Yay!!!

I sure did miss his song , even though Harper, my Green Singer has been picking up the slack.
I think given a few days he'll be back in good form and give Harper a run for his money.

lovezebs That's good to hear you didn't have two birds stop at the same time so you could still hear beautiful singing. I didn't know you have a Harper too. My little fledgling is Harper. I have a friend whose daughter's name is "Ellington Harper" so I named two of my fledglings from her name because I loved it so much.

Thanks

lovezebs I guess they're really juveniles now. Ellington is a Black Breasted penguin so I'm told. It's a curious thing considering I have no idea how he came to be that genetically because it doesn't seem to fit his parents or siblings. It must be from really recessive gene. The cream colored bird I'm posting is a fledgling picture of the sister of the two of them.
