Good Day,
What can I do the help protect my Canaries against mosquito bites, and what can I put on their legs if they are already been bitten.
My canaries are all outside. I do have a mosquito pest machine close the my cages and I do spray regularly my cages also with big kill for mosquito 's.
Thank you very.
Regards
HENRY

I would buy Avian Insect Liquidator. It is safe to spray on finches and kills just about everything. I would just give them baths for any bites they have. If they were exposed to anything, you'll have to watch and see if their droppings or eating changes.

BIG mosquito net for the cage
Unless your canary are showing problems from the bites, like sores or abscess then there is little worry, unless you in a zone where the mozzie transmit diseases.
Be careful of spraying any insecticides that are not bird friendly.
I live near a vlei, I have tons of mozzies and can do little to help the birds outside. Traps, lights.... etc I've tried to no avail.
I see my birds take advantage every morning and hunt the mosquito that don't get out the aviary.
