I am so very sorry that your little on e has been sick. Can you take him to an avian vet? That might be your best bet. Too many medications in that tiny body can do more harm then good.

Have you tried wormaway? I'd try deworming him, and do another treatment of scatt a week after you finish the wormaway.

i agree thats a lot of medicine for a little guy. i don't have faith in our vet my brother took some young gouldians to him that where healthy because they where molting differently and he ended up killing them. we live in a pretty rural area most vets around here deal with live stock and dogs. so i actually feel safer on my own. i just wish i knew what was wrong with him.

Snow finch Shame sorry your canary is so ill.

So far you have treated for parasites (ASM and worms excluding tapeworm) and Protozoa.
Seen no improvement. You don't mention his condition (skinny or not) and we don't know what his poop is like (normal or runny etc).

First off give him a heat source. Lamp or something to help aid him in his recovery.

Judging from pictures alone, I'd give him an antibiotic if he were my bird and you couldn't get to a vet. Before anything else. Enrofloxyn 10% (Enrofloxacin) is the best to kill off any bacterial disease.0.4ml / 100ml water and add honey or sugar to the mix to make it more palatable. It will also help to some degree for Coccidiosis. I would treat for 10 days (even if he looks better after few days treatment, finish the full course of antibiotics). Then give him probiotics for 5 days.

IF he shows no improvement on that then you have something totally foreign to deal with.
I've never seen a bird so ill from worms unless they had totally wasted away already.

Also offer him soaked / sprouted seed with soft egg food for easy digestibility to help keep his strength up.

Best wishes.

Snow finch your bird needs antibiotics. No amount of vitamins will help if he is this far gone.
