Canary pairing question

Although they are technically passerines, canaries tend to be managed uniquely, so here is a forum just for them!

The mutation causing the dominant white coloration also messes with the birds' ability to assimilate and process vit. A.....
......................................................................................
The recessive white mutation does not affect the vit. A metabolism,
The truth is exactly the opposite.
Recessive whites cannot accumulate carotenoids, thats why they cannot produce vit.A.And thats why they are whites without a lipochrome, red or yellow, ground.Just see their fat.
Dominant whites are just fine to the vit.A metabolism.

Hello, and welcome to the Forum from Canada.

We can always use a Canary person on the Forum, who can answer some more difficult Canary questions that pop up, and would love to get to know you and your birds.

Pictures are always welcome :D
