Hello, Tried posting a new bulk topic with all my questions but didn't go through for some reason.
1) I purchased 2 new birds from a store seems they were already paired up. When I brought them home and put them in a breeding cage separated. The female started to build a nest and the male was moping. I decided to remove section and let them be together. Both the male and female seemed happier. the female continued the buiold her nest and the male serenaded her as well as mounting her. I am assuming they both are in condition due to the lighting from the store I purchased them from. Is it a good idea to let them continue to do their breeding ritual. I just don't want to cause them any more stress.

If your pair is already into nest building, and if you want them to breed , then I would let them go ahead.

At this stage, I would immediately start them on a good quality seed mix, hard boiled eggs, a mixture of greens, along with some apple, and the occasional slice of orange .

Also, and this is very important, offer cuttle bone, and crushed egg shells, for extra calcium, to avoid egg binding.

I would also add a couple of drops of vitamins into their drinking water .

A daily bath of lukewarm water should be offered and will be appreciated, it will also will help keep the future eggs from drying out.
