What type/colour mutation is this canary

Although they are technically passerines, canaries tend to be managed uniquely, so here is a forum just for them!

adoumski and Jamm972

Thanks!

I bought my birds from a Spanish breeder who didn't speak a word of English so although the birds are wonderful, healthy and in breeding condition (which is what I wanted) I wasn't sure what type they were exactly. My only preference was Mosaic.

What does Agate mean? I've googled it and can see these birds have darker markings but is there a specific explanation?

I have some lighter colour mosaics too and came across the description satinet. Have you heard of this?

What is this colour/type?

This is a female but I have a male with more grey feathers through his wings.

paul-inAZ Thanks. This article talks about red eyes. I have one with red eyes....

This one also has whisps of feathers sticking up just above his ears. He's bred and has 2 babies also with red eyes. I'm quite excited about these ones as I think they are beautiful.

I got a bit confused still about it and also what is the Isabel series?
