Re: Mixing types of canary
Just resize the photos and upload directly here.
You can resize several together by uploading them to Facebook in an album. FB will automatically resize them to a size fine for this forum, too.
Then you can save the resized ones from there and upload here.

I re-size pictures all the time, save them and post on here (it does not affect the original copy, just makes another smaller copy, which you can delete later if you don't need it).

Here goes!
I'm sure I can find four nice lookin birds here, yes she does mix species but she's nearly 80 and the budgies just get dumped on her by her grandkids.
Hope you enjoy the photos, zoom in and let me know if you think there's something nice.
Can send photos privately to anyone, just ask.
Neil.

I hope you don't mind that I seperated your pictures into singles. Just makes it easier on my old eyes...

They are all pretty birds, but nothing extraordinary.
Personally, I would stand (or sit) infront of the flight, and watch them to see which ones appeals to me .
I look for personality, along with colour, lol (but then I'm a little bit ).
Are the males and females housed seperately?
Let me take another look.....
Here are a few that I personally would take a look at , but that's me, not you.

I personally like the three lined up with their backs to the camera in the first picture in the original picture post

Re: Mixing types of canary
Hey! Thanks for all your replies and to take the time separating the images, all these birds are housed together all of the time, they're just an old lady's pets left to do whatever, the only bad budgie is in his own cage but there are no quarrels between them when I'm there watching. I mentioned above that someone else came and took the good ones, she told me he took 30! The light coloured one with the dark wingtips ir definitely one I'm keeping my eyes on. I'm a couple of months away from picking up the big aviary and assembling it again so I'd better get a move on. Did anyone see the Grey looking one? I've got to learn the foolproof way of sexing them now for when I go pick them up
Thanks again
Neil

Pretty babies, and a nice flight cage.
Good luck with picking the birds you like, and do keep us updated.
