Fifes
Raising fifes is a lot of fun. Feeding a good seed diet that's not too rich. Without all the fats that some brands come with. I include a daily mix of greens such as dandelion leaves and flower, broccoli, variety of different kale, mealworms, boiled egg, and fruit. I grow fresh kale. I give them twigs to hop around on. They love to peel bark off birch twigs. Try to keep their minds busy. Get a bath couple times a week. More in summer and during molt. They also enjoy playing with things from nature. Dandelion seeds, long leaves. Stuff that's fun to rip apart or carry around. I spray cage, birds and bird room with a avian safe insect repellant. First two weeks bugs were cleaned up daily. Now not a single bug, fly, ant. Nothing! Bugs were hiding in the walls and cracks. So far no sign.

Re: Fifes
Among canaries' breeds they are one of the easiest to keep and breed, and in my opinion, one of the prettiest to!
