Red Cobalt Canaries

Although they are technically passerines, canaries tend to be managed uniquely, so here is a forum just for them!

Red Cobalt Canaries

Post by Rob » Sun Aug 27, 2017 10:35 pm

I got a pair of young cobalt canaries yesterday and I wanted to introduce them. Their wings are crossed at the back (right over left), which I understand is a negative trait, but otherwise I don't see any issues. The female is the intensive.

Thanks everyone.

@lovezebs
I did :) There were lots of nice birds there. Did you have a booth? I tried to meet all of the breeders there.

Yes, I was there, sharing a table with a bird friend who was selling some of his Canaries. We were right across from the couple with the big white Cockatoo on the stand.

I probably met you, without even knowing that I met you, lol.

I'm so glad you had fun, and got some lovely Canaries to take home.

I'll pm you, out of respect for the seller and my own privacy ha. It was a good deal though, around what you'd expect for a pair of canaries.
