Canary? Frilled Canary? Canary/Finch Hybrid?! I have no idea

Hey there, I just found out through people in the forum that I may have a Canary. Possibly a frilled canary. Or a Frilled Canary/Finch. I have no idea!! I took this bird in from a person who was pet sitting the bird at her job. She is not a real pet sitter just a friend of the owner. The owner no longer wanted the bird and it didn't get proper care. So I took in the bird. My partner and I named it Da Finche under the impression it was a finch. That's what I was told it was.... But now I'm not so sure.

If u was you I would still call it da finchie anyway on your first thread I thought it was a finch but now I'm guessing it's a canary it's body shape and beak doesn't look like a finches

Just so you know, It's not how the forums work though. For better answers and less confusion You post one thread for one issue. Read forum rules

Regarding posting new Threads about the same subject.....
***Posting New Threads
If possible, discussion about a single topic should be centralized within a single thread. Therefore, before starting a new thread, please search the forums to see if a topic is already discussed in an established thread, and add to it, rather than creating a new thread. Failing to do this may result in a warning and your new thread being appended to the established thread. Likewise, if you have several questions about a related topic, post them together (do not start a new thread for each related question).
Adding to Existing Threads
Posts should be relative to the thread that they are in. If your post is unrelated to the thread it may be moved.***

If I have something to ask about breeding then something about nutrition and diet should I just post them in the same under group chat

Elana was nice enough to go through the rules and post them here for you. Show some gratitude and at least read them.
It's all in there but I think you're trying to be a smart little a... aren't you!
Well let me tell something else in that case, what will happen is that those people that are helping you don't like smart a...s and will ignore your questions just because you're a smart a.... so show some maturity and stop being smart

andiok not being funny but who are you I weren't being a smart a... at all I was simply replying just saying should I right them in both whilst I'm writing one instead of righting two in the future.
I'm pretty sure if I afeended elana she would have said and I would have apologised and stated I didn't intend to

Hey Fraser,
No worries.
If you have a question about breeding, it should be posted under "Breeding".
If you have a question about diet, it should be posted under "Diet and Nutrition".
If you click on the User Control Panel (top of page) then click on Board Index, you can see the Topics under which you can post your Threads.
For example....
If you start a Thread headed "What Should I Feed My Finches?" You can continue asking your dietary questions under this same Thread, rather than having to start a new Thread about each food item. Do you see what I mean?
