Although they are technically passerines, canaries tend to be managed uniquely, so here is a forum just for them!

Leg Bands

I am trying to figure out what size leg bands for my fife canaries.
I've read sizes ranging from 2.8mm, 2.9mm, 3.0mm
Is there much difference in those sizes?

There is a difference, but I don't know how important it might be. I do know that finch and canary bands are so small that tiny differences can be important.

There is a Fife club in the U.S. http://www.iffca.net/mysite/default.htm
They don't seem to mention band size--they do sell bands--but someone listed could probably help you.
