I think they were trying to say 'breeding', but you'd think they would have caught such a silly, glaring mistake, before putting it out there for the whole world to see.
Don't give people ideas about the permanent marker, lol.... years ago it was shoe polish on horses, now markers on Canaries....

.
Trust me Elana as you know that I've got a lot of experience in the British finch world and I've seriously seen some strange things happen,
I've known of people here in England in fact even in me home town to use marker pens on the British finches , especially Siskin hens so it makes em look twice as good as they really are for when it comes to selling them
There's some crazy stuff out there I can assure you, many of which I've seen meself and in truth nothing really surprises me these days,
Even had a late freind ( God bless him ) who had a fantastic greenfinch hen that had completely broken it's front toe nail right off, he actually tried to super glue the toe nail back onto the birds toe and surprisingly it did look ok,
The following week the bird was exhibited at one of me local club shows and where it actually took best British bird in show
In this instance the bird was perfectly ok and not harmed in any way, at the time i honestly admit that I was a bit sceptical about the idea of me mate doing this but nowadays I think back and just laugh at the thought of a bird winning a big show with a super glued toe nail
