Hop-Sing update

Although they are technically passerines, canaries tend to be managed uniquely, so here is a forum just for them!

Hop-Sing update

Post by Hop-Sing » Sun Mar 25, 2018 5:09 pm

I guess I'm doing OK by Hop-Sing. He's eating his seed, apples, kale, hard-boiled egg and broccoli, very active, bathing and singing. The singing is random - doesn't seem to be related to particular noises, YouTube canary songs or even silence - he just feels like singing once in a while, I guess. I've been telling people that I call him "Hop-Sing" for short - that his full name is "Hop-Sing-Eat-Poop."
Should I be giving him fruit & greens on a daily basis, or just a few times a week?
