need canary info
How hard is it to take care of canaries compared to society finches? How loud are they compared to a society finch? Can you keep a canary alone? I have a single flight cage with 6 society finches, could a lone canary live with them in there? I'am thinking about getting a young male from Kijiji in august. Just want to do research before I make a final decision.

Another question are they as loud as a budgie?

Re: need canary info
I’ve had two and I thought they where just as easy to look after they can make noise louder than finches when they sing but not annoying I think a zebra pie are more disturbing
Also they should be okay in a flight cage

Re: need canary info
Hi I spoke to you on a different forum. 6 finches and a canary in one flight cage will be cramped. I have had both together and the canary got agitated by the finches. A flight cage is smaller than my 1st avairy. A canary needs space.

I get that a canary is a canary, that is not my question. Also I do own another cage, I was only asking if it would work, but it isint my only cage.
