Thanks for breakfast!

Post by cindy » Mon Jul 16, 2012 8:58 am

Well Rummy enjoyed his meal! I found he loves just about everything offered. We give him a choice of Lafebers, Roudybush & Zupreem parakeet fruit blend pellets. Loves the Roudybush and Zupreem, mostly Roudybush since that is what be was weaned onto.

As for seed and fruit mix he loves the Higgins Mayan Harvest and Safflower Gold. At first he was selective about what he picked out of the blends and now tries a little of everything. He loves raisins, cranraisins and the gooey sticky cherries in the mix.

We offer strawberries, banana, tomato (loves organic tomato sauce), whole wheat toast, blueberries, carrots.

His vocabulary has increased and he talks clearer and louder now. He is a chatterbox. If he sees me put on the denim shirt that I wear when he sits with me....he climbs across the door very quickly, talking up a storm and giving kisses. I went to clean his cage the other day, reached in for his dish and he asked "what ya doing?". We enjoy the little guy!

He is roughly around three months. He has a fascintion for images on my kindle, not sure what it is but it could be an ad or email, even Facebook....he cocks his head, gets all excited at stares at it....they are a fun little bird!
