Those babies are precious. :)

On a side note: I have friends that breed hookbills and sometimes if a hen is used to having the chicks pulled by the breeder at a certain point to be handfed she may stop feeding the clutch. One breeder in particular comes to mind. He purchased several pairs from someone and he waited a little too long according to the hens and he lost the babies because they stopped brooding and feeding. And one of his hens does this every time she breeds. He has to pull her babies much earlier than he likes, but she's always been like that.

So if you're purchasing a pair of breeders from someone or your hen as bred previously, it may be a good idea to contact the breeder the birds were purchased from to find out what their schedule was like after the chicks hatched to save yourself the grief of checking the box a day too late.

I know what you mean...my scarlets peeked out for days. Finally one fledged today. The other leaned out but went back in.
