They are definitely the cutest things. They have been picking a little bit at the spray millet, but they definitely are not eating on their own yet.

We now have every color of blue
Mom is currently beginning work on another clutch, too. The first go-around we hadn't yet provided a nest box. When she had laid the first egg in the happy hut, we decided to go ahead and put the nest box on. Well, she didn't know or want to go into it until after we lost three more eggs that rolled out of the happy hut and removed it from their cage. Then she was forced to use the nest box and laid three more eggs. These two were the lucky ones. The last one was a dud.
She laid the first one again two days ago, but I think the babies crushed it, so it broke. She is about to lay a second one tonight. I am wondering now if we should reintroduce the happy hut for the babies to sleep in so mom can have the nest box to herself. She isn't even trying to run the babies off. I hate to see more of her eggs get broken again this time around.
