Possibly Budgie Babies Incoming...

Post by Sheather » Thu Jan 22, 2015 11:50 pm

Alex and Sunny are at it again, this time in a proper box at ceiling-height, with a scenic view of the whole room. I've seen lots of passionate... actions... between the pair and Sunny is spending more and more time inside with an apparently eager Alex always coming and checking in on her. I think very soon I might be finding some eggs in there...

Oooh, that would be so exciting!

Budgie babies are so adorable. They're the most awkward little creatures ever!
Is Alex the sidewalk budgie?

How's the giant ice blue English budgie doing? I forget his name.

I spy Walter's little head in the corner! I've got to check on his thread and see how his babies are doing!

MiaCarter Nope, our little sidewalk budgie is Arthur, and he's best pals with the big blue fellow, Sydney. They may differ in size, color, and everything else, but they both have the sweetest and gentlest personalities and such a close friendship. They're never not next to one another talking and playing.

Sheather - Aw, look how sweet they are, Arthur and Sydney!
That's so sweet that they've become such good friends.
My budgies are exactly the same. Always together. Always playing and skatting and kissing.

The size difference is so cute. Sydney is so big alongside Arthur! He looks so sweet and gentle in that photo. He's got a knowing, wise look in his eye.

Budgies are just the sweetest, happiest little creatures on the planet.
You can't look at them and feel anything but delighted! They always make me smile.

@MiaCarter

I really love the budgies and the friendship these two share just makes my day, it's so gosh darn adorable to see these mismatched pals playing and kissing and singing and running about all day.

Also, Sunny has laid her first egg today!

Oooh! That's happy news on Sunny!

It must be sweet watching your unlikely pair! A big gentle giant and a sidewalk parakeet!
I know *exactly* what you mean about the Arthur and Sydney warming your heart! I'm the same way with my pair. Watching them makes me smile! They're just so inseparable, lovey and so darn happy!
I can't even think of the day when one will be gone. That will be an awful day, indeed.
