Re: Young Bourke Siblings
the parents to these young are....father is normal/ino, fallow, rosey & mom is Rosey/fallow and from a blue selection. The tow young in the front, the one on the left we believe will be rubino, the one on the right it is to early to tell but may be lutino. Both of these will be hens since the male is split to ino.

Just beautiful birds. Do you ever look for homes or do you keep all your babies? Lo e these colors did you hand tame them?

I do sell, mostly at certain shows, I do not take my hookbills into enclsed shows but will take them to two outdoor shows, I have a booth sort of separate from the aisles of other vendors. I feel ok about taking them there. Or I sell privately. I do not sell on ebay, craigslist. And I do share and sell on facebook groups.Spreckles wrote: Just beautiful birds. I have handfed and I do let parents raise their own. I have had some older handfeds that liked to climb on me, I do not really work with them on a regular basis but they can be tamed.

The normal, rubino and lutino fledged but in the box was a little surprise the youngest is feathered in bule and green....it has yet to fledge. Mom is back in the box, she took advantage of the little blue still needing the box and she started to lay eggs again

The beautiful colours never cease to amaze me, Cindy.
Your babies are gorgeous !
When you first started out with birds, did you start with Finches, or Hookbills ?

Everyone has fledged and doing well, maturing!!! Making more baby flights!
I have noticed one of my lutino hens sitting on the box perch so hopefully she will go to nest soon, she is paired with a Rosey.
