I would think that the basic husbandry and conditioning would be the same as for any medium sized conure (i.e. sun, jenday, nanday) for which you can find a TON of info online. Seeing how like macaws, many conures will hybridize, their nesting habits can't be all that different for most. This site has a little breeding info on it http://www.avianweb.com/cherryheadconure.html such as nest box size, etc. Also, look up mitred conures, a very similar species that the cherry head will readily hybridize with. I keep and breed some Lovebird's and Cockatiel's and use this site for reference http://www.lakelandbirdkeepers.co.uk , when I need help with my hookbill's , hope this help's .
