Ian Curtis- New Cockatiel!

HI GUYS!!
We just 'adopted'/'rescued' a cockatiel from going to a shelter today!(yesterday technically!)
His name is Ian Curtis(named by me!)
and he is the sweetest thing ever! He loves me, not sure why. Hates my mother with a flying passion (no pun intended)
He refuses to go near her. When she walks in, he buries his face in my hair or he tries to fly away. So silly!
Anyway, here he is!

He looks great and I am jealous as am missing my cocaktiel. Here she is.....
She is a white faced pearl.
Unfortunately I had to let her go to another couple who had more time to spend with her.

That whiteface is beautiful, but she's a whiteface pearl pied! I had a pearl pied male named Wendy... we thought he was a she and only found out that Wendy was male a month before s'he' died..

Lovely bird! Maybe he had a bad history with someone who looked or sounded like your mother.
