Scarlet Chested Parakeets were moved into a large flight together, they will mature in this flight until about August/September. I will start pairing the older hens with the males into breeder cages. The two younger hens will get to enjoy the flight to themselves. They are settling in and enjoying a bit of mixed greens, veggies, Roudybush soak and grated egg.

Javas are perching and nibbling on seed, pellets and dried eggfood.

Ahhhhh, so they're not pure white! I was possibly considering getting one from you someday so that I could get pure white babies paired with my male. Very cute though! :) Bob

Do you really think so? They look EXACTLY like the babies I just gave away - who looked exactly like their mom. White, with a tiny bit of silver pied on their backs. :? Bob

I know nothing about javas,
but sometimes when white zebra babies
have fledged, they fledge with spots on their backs,
that will molt away into white :)
