Does anyone give grit to their Budgies or Lovebirds?

I have never given it to any of my hookbills. They have no need for it since they completely hull their seeds . I've found certain sources even saying that it could be harmful to them. As long as you provide cuttlebone and fresh foods , you should be fine :) .
