Will a hand-fed baby Budgie stay tame if housed with others?
Or will they go 'wild' again once they're with their own (not-tame) kind?

I reckon that it will stay tame. I have a tame canary cock in my aviary and it became even tamer since I got it. It is a total guts and begs all the time when I am close to the aviary. The canary hen has followed it example and has also became quite tame.

Some do and some do not, some decide that they would rather be part of a flock of their own kind than bond with you. Other times the tame one is fine and stays tame...it depends on bird, it's personality and how strongly it is bonded to you...hand feeding does not necessarily guarantee a tame bird or any species.

Thanks.
I was considering adopting one, but someone else got him first. Oh well.
