Hello everybody! Haven't been online in SUCH A LONG TIME!!! I'm back anyway and I was enquiring on people's experience with clipping budgies wings? How do you actually clip them? :D

Gráinne Barrett When I was a child my father used to clip our budgie's wing. You spread open the wing and clip off about a third. If you clip both sides, the bird can still fly. With one wing clipped, the bird fly in circles.

Budgies are more reliant on flight to move around properly than bigger parrots and I don't recommend their wings be clipped for long periods, or they're likely to become very overweight.
