OH MY GOODNESS!

This is so precious!

Aren't budgie babies the absolute cutest? Hookbill babies are so awkward and funny looking. They're just so incredibly endearing!

Little Sam is gorgeous! Look at him! He's so grown up looking already!
I say that's one incredible surprise! Congrats to you!

He looks so sleepy in the last picture. Like he's had a long day of exploring.

So precious! What a wonderful surprise!
I'd love some budgie babies myself. But I've got 2 males, so no surprise babies for us. ;-)

What a cutie pie!

I'll be interested to see how he colors up! I definitely spy some yellow!

His fuzzy little body is so darn cute! He looks like a little sheep!

Age 18 days (on Friday we went for a romp in the garden - cutest thing ever! Every little flower he came across seemed to blow his mind and he had to taste it. He is so cute and so curious of the world now.)

Such adorable pictures. My linnies had 5 chicks this year and I have to agree, hookbill chicks are just the cutest. They are like feathered puppies.

How adorable he is. :) My three little Rubino Bourke chicks act like tiel babies. With my life in shambles currently I didn't pull them to handfeed initially like I wanted but I get them out and handle them a bit. And they just want to fuss and hiss and climb away. Silly babies.

Do you guys remember my little Sam?

He's almost two years old now and the best budgie anyone could ask for! He's sweet and playful, and even with nine other parakeet pals, remains very tame to people. He steps up, but much prefers to land on your shoulder or in your hair!
