If the hen is olive green she is a Cinnamon (sex linked). If the father is split to cinnamon also you will notice cinnamon offspring in your nest box early on, the eyes will be light under the eye lid compared to a normal.

From the looks of it the baby in the picture may be a cinnamon, if so dad might also be split to cinnamon. Mom will only give you split to cinnamon males if not paired with a visual cinnamon or split to cinnamon male. Post a picture, please as the young feather out more.

Thanks for interesting info. One baby is olive green and other is normal green. I just forgot to post their videos here on finch forum. Both of them are doing great now.

The name for the "olive green" mutation is Cinnamon. Your male/father is split to Cinnamon. You can get male and female Visual Cinnamons.

Any normal male offspring will be split to Cinnamon. Normals hen offspring will only be normals since they can not be split to Cinnamon.
