Scarlet Breast Hen Fluffed Up !!! Help!

Yesterday everything seemed normal for my pair of Scarlet Breasted Keets...going from one nest box to another deciding on where to settle; male feeding her and she seems very receptive to him. This morning I found her on the ground fluffed up and closing her eyes like she wasn't feeling good. They are in my outdoor aviary. I quickly caught her and her mate and have them inside my home in my wash room where it is not air conditioned. I was afraid the extreme change from HOT outdoor temp to cool a/c would be bad for them.

I just noticed her droppings are watery. I put a white paper towel under her to try and get a good photo. Hope Cindy will chime in ASAP!!!! Not sure what to do!!!!!!!

Jenny, are the feathers around the vent wet, sticky? How old is she? You need a heat lamp on her, at least 85 degrees direct heat in one corner of the cage.

Are you giving either pellets fortified with calcium and D3 or any sort of powdered Vitamins with D3 and calcium?

I would not give them more than one box to choose from. Has she picked a box, removed the pine in the bottom in a section inside the box?

When you picked her up did you notice the vent are, is there a bulge as it an egg is in the area?

Are her wings spread out and down. If so she needs heat asap, heat lamp.
