New Bird: Sky Opaline Spangle English Parakeet
Have been looking for this color & type for a while; found one @ the Neenah WI Bird Fair.
She will be a companion to my Scarlet Chest Grass Parakeets when I take them away from their parents. English Parakeets, I am told, are calm & gentle as opposed to an American Budgie.
She is more turquoise/aqua in real life; the photos look more powder blue.

Thanks Debbie
I named her "Thai", since my 16-old g-daughter is spending 11 months in Thailand as a Rotary Foreign Exchange Student. She left last month & is doing VERY WELL

Hi Dolly.
I have to admit, I am not a big fan of English Parakeets, BUT, that is one stunning looking bird.
The markings (spangling) are absolutely outstanding and the colour (even if it's not as intense as you say ) is very beautiful.
Congratulations, you sure picked a lovely bird.
