The chick from this pair's first clutch is doing fine; had to remove "him" from the cage last week as dad was harassing him. It looks like he is getting red feathers on his belly; which is strange because the red is supposed to be on his chest.

New Scarlet Chested Grass Parakeets HATCHING
This morning I notice 2 new babies; there were 4 eggs, so will have to see if more hatch. Can only check when mom is off the nest; often in the a.m. when she comes out to feed.
