Your Lutino girl is absolutely stunning. I have never seen one that colour. In fact, I had no idea that Bourkes came in that colour.

A lovely bird ♡ !!!

The baby on the right is a opaline fallow, red eyes as well.

Bourkes even come in what they call a blue series... the birds have varying degrees of blue on the head and body, most show it young but loose some of it during the first molt. The mother to the clearwing lutino sibling came from a blue line, the brothers showed heavy over all blue, during the first molt they lost some of it.

Thanks for the site.
I still have to say that the lutino is my favorite colour variation.

cindy - Gorgeous isn't the word!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!

Bourkes are amongst my favorites. They're so gorgeous and so darn happy (which seems to be a 'keet trait - I still maintain they're the happiest little birds ever!)
Not always as human-friendly as some other varieties, but wonderful nevertheless. You can't help but smile when you watch them. And there are just so many gorgeous varieties.

You've got a whole bunch of beautiful birds here!

The lutinos remind me of springtime flowers and melting snow. (Vague and rather odd association, I guess. LOL)
Humum to....
13 Zebra Finches....and 2 squeeps!
3 Society Finches
6 Gouldians
1 Weaver
1 Pintail Whydah
2 Cockatiels
2 Parakeets

....along with 1 MinPin, 1 Pug, 1 JRT, 1 Yorkie, 2 Chihuahuas and 15 cats.

The parent to the lutino and siblings just hatched a third baby, a red eyed chick.

The Rosey hen and normal split to ino have a second round of babies... a little red eyed, and 2 normals/rosey if there is a male he is split to ino. So I checked the babies in the box...the red eyed baby is showing darker wing feather... so it is a fallow. That means mom and dad are also split to fallow!!!! The baby will look like the fallow in the previous pictures, that one is unrelated to this family.

the parents...

Cindy:
Curious about the terminology. You have some lutinos that have clear yellow backs and wings and others have a pink wash to the yellow. Are the latter what is sometimes called 'rubino'?
Or what is the difference between the two?

I have both normals and rosies and would love to add a lutino. There aren't many lutinos around.
Not that I have the space at this time because I have a half dozen youngsters and another clutch just hatching.

thesr is a bit of pink infusion in the wings on the last lutino pictured above.

lutino clearwing free of pink infusion (wash) in the wings...this is mine, she just fledged and looks a bit rough, feathers still coming in.
